If the party is a government body, try a short abbreviation (for example "State of Karnataka" may be indexed differently depending on the case type). If the matter is a writ petition, try searching under the petitioner rather than the respondent.
The cause list does not show the matter
Cause lists for the Karnataka High Court are published for each Bench separately. Check you are on the correct Bench's cause list. Some matters are listed in chamber (before a single judge without a public cause list entry). Check directly with the advocate on record if the matter does not appear. If the matter is adjourned or standing over, it will not appear on today's list.
Orders and judgements are missing from the portal
Short procedural orders (adjournments, dates) are often uploaded within a day or two. Reserved judgements may take longer to appear.
